Holy Mt Kailash Overland Tour via Kyrung is one of the economic and easy yatra program which require total 11 days including 10 nights stay, 2 nights stay at Syabrubesi and 8 nights stay at Tibet using hotel and guest house. The yatra is commenced toward Syabrubesi or Rasuwagadhi border and further proceed to Kyrung, Saga, Mansarovar and Darchen. The three days holy Mount Kailash parikrama start from Darchen and end at Darchen after crossing highest point of the holy trek 5,500 meter known as Dormala Pass. Fishtail Tours & Travel Nepal and NTB Treks Pvt Ltd invite you to join this yatra during upcoming 2024 season which is going to start from April and end at August.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi,
Day 02: Drive from Syabrubesi to Kyrung

Day 06: Drive to Yamadwar & Holy Trek to Dirapuk,

DETAIL ITINERARY:
DAY 01: DRIVE TO SYABRUBESI (140 Km, 8 hours’ drive) B/L/D
Breakfast and drive to Syabrubesi (1,550 M, 140 km, 8 hours’ drive). After arrival at Syabrubesi check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 02: DRIVE TO KYRUNG (55 Kms, 1 hour drive) B/L/D
After breakfast drive to Nepal China friendship bridge (20 Kms, 30 min drive). Complete Immigration formalities in Nepal side and walk approx 15 minutes to cross Friendship Bridge. Complete all China side immigration formalities & walk further ahead & get introduced with your Chinese guide / coach drivers. After introduction, proceeds the journey to Kyrung (2,700 M). Arrive in Kyrung and overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 03: DRIVE TO SAGA (105 Kms, 4,640 meter, 4/5 hours’ drive) B/L/D
After breakfast drive to Saga ( 4,640 meter, 105 km, 4/5 hours’ drive )/ New Dongpa( 4,462 meter, 182 kms, 5/6 hours’ drive).You will witness beautiful waterfall, rivers, mountains and unique Tibetan landscape en route to Saga. After approx.4/5 hours ‘drive you will reach to Saga (4,640 M). Arrive in Saga and overnight stay at hotel
DAY 04: DRIVE TO MANSAROVAR (410 Kms, 7/8 hours’ drive) B/L/D
After breakfast, drive to Mansarovar (4,556 M). Arrive Mansarovar, take a holy bath, and perform Puja, Hawan, and Devtarpan etc. (self). Freshly cooked dinner will be served at the edge of Mansarovar Lake. Overnight stay at guesthouse.
DAY 05: DRIVE TO DARCHEN (30 Kms, 1 hour drive) B/L/D
Drive to Darchen (4,664M), en-route visit to Chuigumpa hot spring will be organized. Finally arrive in Darchen and overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 06: DRIVE TO YAMADWAR & HOLY TREK TO DIRAPUK, B/L/D
With packed lunch box, drive to Tarboch Flag Pole the first prostration point, – an auspicious gateway and the sky burial ground. Visit Yamadwar and further drive to Sershong( 8 Kms, 10 mins drive), Meet your porters/ pony caretaker etc. and trek to Dirapuk (4,765 M, 10 km , 5/6 hours trek). Overnight stay at guesthouse.
DAY 07: HOLY TREK TO ZUTHULPUK, B/L/D
Continue Parikrama over Droma La Pass (5,585 M) to Zuthulpuk (4,700 M, 22 KM, 7-8 hrs trek). Overnight stay at camp/ guesthouse.
DAY 08: HOLY TREK TO NEAR DARCHEN B/L/D
Last and final day Kailash Parikrama ends near Darchen (4,664 M, 14 km, and 3-4 hrs trek). Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY09: DRIVE TO NEW DONGPA/SAGA B/L/D
Early morning drive to New Dongpa (350 KM, 6 to 7 hrs, drive 4,464 M) or Saga (4,640 meter, 430 km, 7/8 hours’ drive). Packed lunch will be served on the way. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 10: DRIVE TO KYRUNG (105 KMS, 4/5 HRS DRIVE)
Drive to Kyrung (2,700m, 105km, 4/5 hrs drive). Arrive Kyrung city and check into hotel. Rest of the day is free for personal activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 11: DRIVE TO BORDER & DRIVE TO KATHMANDU (165 KMS, 8/9 HRS DRIVE).
Early morning, after breakfast drive to Nepal China- Friendship Bridge (55 Km and 1 hours’ drive). Complete China side Immigration formalities and proceed further to complete Nepal Side immigration formalities. After completion of immigration formalities, you will be driven to Kathmandu (165 Km, 8/9 hours’ drive). Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
